BREWERY BRANDING COSTS

HOW MUCH DOES BREWERY BRANDING COST?

Brewery branding can range from a focused piece of consultancy to a complete strategy, identity and packaging programme. The final cost depends on what your brewery needs, what is already in place and how much needs to be created.

This page gives you realistic starting prices, what affects the cost and what you should expect to receive for your investment.

WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT TO INVEST IN BREWERY BRANDING?

Every brewery is different, so these are starting points rather than fixed packages. The final price depends on your goals, number of products, existing brand assets and the support you need. Before any work begins, you receive a clear scope, timeline and agreed project price.

WHAT AFFECTS THE COST OF BREWERY BRANDING?

Two breweries can ask for a rebrand and need completely different amounts of work. These are the main things that shape the final quote.

01. WHAT ALREADY EXISTS

A brewery with a clear strategy and usable brand assets may need a focused refresh. Starting from scratch, or untangling years of inconsistent decisions, requires more discovery and development.

02. NUMBER OF BEERS & FORMATS

Designing one core range is different from rolling a brand across seasonal beers, cans, bottles, keg lenses, pump clips and secondary packaging. More products and formats mean more design and artwork time.

03. RESEARCH & STRATEGY

Customer interviews, brewery workshops, competitor research, positioning and range architecture all add depth to the project. They also give the creative work a much stronger foundation.

04. WHAT NEEDS TO BE CREATED

Some breweries need a visual identity. Others need naming, messaging, packaging, point of sale, sales materials, a website and launch support. The final scope reflects what your team genuinely needs.

05. FEEDBACK & DECISION-MAKING

A clear decision-making team helps the project move smoothly. Larger teams, additional workshops or extra rounds of development can increase the amount of time required.

06. TIMING & ROLLOUT

Tight launch dates, phased releases and coordination with printers, canners or other suppliers can affect the schedule and cost. We agree these requirements before the work begins.

After the initial call, you receive a recommended scope that matches the work your brewery needs, with every cost explained before the project begins.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A COMPLETE BREWERY REBRAND?

A complete rebrand starts by understanding the commercial challenge and ends with a brand ready to use across the brewery. The exact scope changes from project to project, but it will usually include the following stages.

01. DISCOVERY &
RESEARCH

Brewery and stakeholder workshops

Existing brand and beer range audit

Competitor and market research

Customer, trade and team insight

02. STRATEGY &
MESSAGING

Brand positioning, purpose and values

Audience profiles and customer needs

Brand messaging and tone of voice

Beer naming and range architecture where required

03. IDENTITY &
PACKAGING

Logo and visual identity system

Colour, typography and visual toolkit

Core beer packaging and pump clips

Practical brand guidelines for your team

04. ROLLOUT &
LAUNCH

Agreed packaging adaptations and artwork

Taproom, trade & digital launch assets

Handover of print-ready artwork

Launch support where required

The starting price covers the agreed core scope. Additional beer variants and third-party costs such as printing, photography, web development and advertising spend are quoted separately where required.

Not sure how much of this your brewery needs? We’ll help you work out the right scope.
