3 things every brewery must get right from day one

These are the three core things you need to get right if you want your brewery to stand out and dominate in 2025:

1️⃣ Know What Makes Your Brewery Awesome

Sit down with the team and ask:
👉 What makes us different?
👉 Why did we start this?
👉 What’s unique about our history, our people, and our beer?

Write down everything—because this is your story, and it’s what makes your brand stand out.

2️⃣ Know Who’s Drinking Your Beer

If you’re brewing for everyone, you’re actually brewing for no one.
Get specific.
Who do you want in your taproom? Who’s buying your beer online? Who’s your dream trade customer?

Go one step further—find them and talk to them. Learn what they love and what they wish breweries did better.

3️⃣ Know Your Competition

Massively underrated, but game-changing.
Jump on Untappd, Google Reviews, and TripAdvisor and do some digging.
✅ What are people raving about?
✅ What’s turning them off?
✅ Where are your competitors smashing it (or dropping the ball)?

Find the gaps and position your brewery as the obvious choice.
