Stop it with the ‘a new logo will fix my brewery’ bull sh*t

Well hello there my beer brewing brandito! Back for more brand based ramblings from yours truly? Oooh go on then!

It’s time to set the record straight!

Are you sat in the camp of a failing brewery and thinking a new logo will sort all your problems? Let’s pause and think about that. It’s tempting to think a super shiny logo can fix issues like losing customers or other big challenges. But is that really the case…. SPOILER ALERT….. NO IT’S BLOOMIN NOT!

I mean, I wish it was! Then marketing the Brand Weaver logo design services would be a walk in the park!

Take McDonald's as an example. Yes, the Golden Arches are iconic, but they're just part of the package. People also think about the food, the atmosphere, and every other greasy little detail that McDonald’s offers. A logo, while important, is only one part of your happy meal!

If your brewery is struggling, changing the logo alone probably won’t solve your problems. Let’s take a look at a few potential problems…

  • Not enough customers? A new logo won’t bring them in.

  • Trouble getting your beers on tap? A logo change isn't the answer.

  • Issues with distribution? Changing your logo won’t help with that.

What you really need is ….. wait for it…………..a solid brand strategy! It’s not just about a new logo on your cans, clips and all the other beer stuff. It’s about:

  • Telling a strong story: What makes your beers special?

  • Engaging properly: How and where are you connecting with your audience?

  • Building your presence: How are you presenting your brand from your beer cans to customer service?

If things aren’t going well, don’t just jump to redesigning your logo. Take a moment to think about all the parts of your brand. A well-thought-out brand strategy can help match your offerings to what the market wants and truly engage your customers (core that last bit sounded posh didnt it?!).

So… has it got you thinking…. reckon you need a lil chat with an attractive bald and bearded man who knows a thing or two about this kinda thing…
